Walter M. Cronk, 79, of Abbotsford, got his angel wings on August 12, 2020 at home with his three daughters by his side; JulieAnn, Melinda, and Kim. Walter was born on March 11, 1941 in LaCrosse Wisconsin. He married Sharon Christianson on August 10, 1959 in Caledonia, MN. Walter and Sharon raised their five children on French Island before they moved to Mindoro, WI. Walter worked for Ross Floor Mart installing floor and bathroom tile, until he had an injury and became disabled. He was a loving, respecting, strong, caring, compassionate, father and husband. Dad loved to do wood work, repair things, hunt, fish, camp, but he loved being a deputy sheriff while riding with Richard Baker. We have so many memories of Dad.
Walter is survived by his 5 children; Walter E. (Nikki) Cronk Jr., of Ontario WI, Melinda (Lee) Lappin of Chippewa Falls, WI, JulieAnn (Alan) Kneifl of Abbotsford, WI, Timothy (Cindy) Cronk of Merrilland, WI, and Kimberly (Alton) Lash of Trempealeau, WI.

Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Walter (Nikki) Cronk, Natasha and Kevin Ralph: Travis, Paisley, Wyatt and children: Jamie daughter of Nikki; Melinda (Lee) Lappin, Benjamin & Savannah Lappin and children Isaac, Roman, Kaleb, Stacia and Reggie Gammage and children Kaylee, Alexis, Reginald Jr., Katelyn & Ben Monk and children Kara, Noah, Grayson; JulieAnn (Alan) Kneifl and children Yulanda and Merle Schrock and child Marty, Joleen and Lenny Dipzinski and children Leonard and Ethan, Ellynn, Laura, and Shelly; Tim (Cindy) Cronk children Joshua Walter (Alexandria) Cronk; Kim (Alton) Lash: Samantha & Dillion Lockington and children Macymae and MaKenna, Charlene & Robbie Nelson and children Hadliegh and baby #2.

Walter is proceeded in death by his wife Sharon Cronk, and parents Warren and Clara Chase-Cronk, daughter, Yulanda Jean, and seven siblings.
