Sharon Louise  Cronk
Sharon L. Cronk, 76, of Abbotsford and formerly of La Crosse, died on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI. She was born on February 9, 1940 in Racine, WI to Einer and Edna (Trump) Christenson. She married Walter M. Cronk on August 10, 1959 in Caledonia MN.

Sharon and Walter raised their family on French Island before they moved to Mindoro. Sharon owned Sharon’s Ceramics in Burr Oak for many years. She was a woman of many talents who enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, she taught ceramics for 4-H and also had provided day care. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Sharon is survived by her husband Walter of Abbotsford, WI; five children: Walter E. (Nikki) Cronk, Jr., of Ontario, WI, Melinda (Lee) Lappin of Chippewa Falls, WI, Julieann (Alan) Kneifl of Abbotsford, WI, Timothy (Cindy) Cronk of Merriland, WI, and Kimberly (Alton) Lash of Mindoro, WI; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a sister Sandra Mae (Dale) White-VanHorn of Rantoul, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Yulanda Jean, her twin sister and one brother.

A memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday July 21, 2016 at the Fossum Funeral and Cremation Service in Onalaska. The Rev. Bruce Janke will officiate. Burial will follow in the Farmington Cemetery in Mindoro. Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Online condolences may be left at www.fossumfuneralhome.com
