Katherine D. Olson, 91 of Onalaska, died on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. She was born on October 17, 1927 in Whitehall, WI to Charles and Minnie (Moen) Schultz. She married John J. Olson on January 1, 1951 in Whitehall, WI.
Katherine is survived by 5 children David of Wisconsin, Susan Olson of St. Paul, MN, Kari Olson of Blaine, MN, Krista Wolfe of Blaine, MN and Barbara Czaplewski of New Brighton, MN. 6 grandchildren: Mathew Olson, Mike (Brittany) Czaplewski, Brittany Garrick and Christine Olson, Leah Olson, Katie Olson; 5 great-grandchildren: William Booker, Christopher Olson, MJ Alston, Madison Czaplewski and Hunter Garrick. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Daniel; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday July 21, 2019 from the First Lutheran Church in Onalaska. The Rev. Jason Stanton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lincoln Cemetery in Whitehall, WI. Friends may call on Sunday from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at the Church.
