Obituary for Howard Victor Borger Jr.

Howard V. Borger, Jr, 77 of Onalaska, died on Monday August 31, 2015 at Gundersen Health Systems in La Crosse. Howard was born on April 16, 1938 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Howard and Vera (Stuhr) Borger, Sr. He married Patricia Ann Mashak on October 22, 1960 in La Crosse, WI.

Howard was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement he worked as a tool and Die Maker for 57 years, working in several area shops. He was a volunteer fire fighter and first responder with the Onalaska Fire Department for 20 years. He also enjoyed fishing and wood working.

Howard is survived by his Wife Patricia of Onalaska, 2 daughters Lisa Borger of Galesville, WI and Mary (Jim) Matthews of Waupaca, WI and their children Sean and Hope; a step-grandson Jeremiah Tschumper of Galesville, WI and his son Mathias David Tschumper; One sister and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son David John Borger; 1 sister and 2 brothers.
