Bangor, WI: Ben J. Czarnecki, 64, of Bangor died suddenly on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems – Sparta Campus. He was born on March 2, 1952 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Ben and Alice (Englehart) Czarnecki. He married Jill Coleman on March 1, 1997 in Houston, Minnesota. Ben served in the US Army for 16 years. He then worked as an over the road truck driver for many years, as a maintenance person at Fort McCoy for three years retiring in 2013. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

Ben is survived by his wife Jill; 4 children: Brandon of Brownwood, Texas, Kimberly (Mike) Ash of Copperas Cove, Texas; Nicole Blumenstein of Onalaska and Chad (Shannon) Blumenstein of La Crosse; Eight Grandchildren: Darien, Kamryn, Terrance, Taylor, Tanner, Madison, Lavender and Averie; 1 great-grandson Carter. Four brothers and sisters Bernie (Vickie) Czarnecki of Sparta, Mike (Judy) Czarnecki of Hillsdale, Michigan, Marcha (Randy) Null of Camden, Michigan, and Terrie (LeAnn) Czarnecki of Irons, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Fossum Funeral Home in Bangor. Chris Schabel will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Military Honors will be provided by the Bangor American Legion.
